Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sweeppilot.com and any purchase you make from it. The site is operated by TRIHAUS LLC ("SweepPilot", "we", "us"). By placing an order you accept these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By ordering you confirm the payment method you use belongs to you or that you are authorised to use it.

2. Products and descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photographs, renderings and 3D models are illustrative; colours can vary between screens and packaging may change without notice.

Performance figures such as runtime, coverage area and climbing angle are manufacturer specifications measured under favourable conditions. Real results vary with pool size, shape, surface, water chemistry and how heavily soiled the pool is.

3. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send confirmation that your item has shipped. An order confirmation email alone does not mean we have accepted the order.

We may decline or cancel an order if stock is unavailable, if a price or description was published in error, if payment authorisation fails, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. Payment is processed by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect an order we have already accepted.

5. Shipping and delivery

We dispatch within one business day where possible. Estimated delivery is 7-15 business days. These are estimates, not guarantees - carrier delays, customs and holidays can extend them.

Tracking is emailed as soon as your order ships. Please double-check your address at checkout; we cannot redirect a parcel once dispatched, and redelivery caused by an incorrect address may be chargeable.

Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, tell us within 7 days with photographs.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel free of charge any time before dispatch by emailing sweeppilotsupport@gmail.com. After dispatch, our returns process applies.

7. Returns and refunds

You may return a product within 30 days of delivery. Full details are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Warranty

Products carry a two-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Full details are in our Warranty page.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, scrape its content systematically, or submit false information.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site - text, photography, 3D models, video, graphics, layout, and the SweepPilot name and logo - belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not republish or use our content commercially without written permission.

11. Reviews

Customer reviews displayed on this site come from verified purchasers of the product. Some are translated from their original language; translations preserve meaning and are not edited to change a reviewer's opinion. We do not remove reviews for being critical.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, loss of use, or the cost of alternative pool cleaning services.

Our products are for domestic swimming pools. Follow the manual, and never operate the product while anyone is in the water.

13. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, customs action, supply shortages, severe weather or industrial action. If such an event occurs we will contact you and either extend the delivery estimate or cancel and refund.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version in force when you place an order governs that order.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, and the courts of New York shall have jurisdiction. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
